I grew up loving the Turtles and my very first VHS tape I ever bought (my mammy bought it for me) was the episode where the turtles shrank and ended up in the sewer. I might be mistaken but I think the last time I drew them must be about 10-15 years ago. Anyways here you are. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I didn't grow up reading the comics. So when the film was announced I wasn't sure if I would like it. I saw the movie and I liked it alot. It was stunning visually and the story was very true to the source material (so I hear). A fun movie to see and a great addition to the MCU.
And so comes the retirement of another Basketball great. Ray Allen. When I saw "He Got Game" I didn't know that the Character of Jesus was played by an actual NBA player. Ray became a favourite of mine after that and has been ever since. Also that's one of my favourite films.
I grew up around the time of the Power Rangers. I recently read the new book from Kyle Higgins, Hendry Prasetya & Boom Studios. It is fantastic. The art is great and so is the story. It reminded me of how much I liked the PR when I was a little kid. Anyways I did this because of that. The Yellow Ranger isn't my favourite but I think I liked the weapons so I did this one.
I am going to add to this every time I do a new one until they are all done.
I have been pretty busy over the past 3 years working in Telegael as a Character/Prop designer and working on VFX for different projects from time to time. I haven't really been able to show any of the work due to shows not airing yet and other legal issues. I can however say that I have some nice pages highlighting my work and I will upload them when I can.
For now though you'll have to be content with this and know that I have some good stuff in the pipeline.
Here is a run down of my work over the past few years.
Most people watch the show. I'm no different. Here is a little piece to show you that Winter is Coming
Shout out to Morgan for giving me the background. He is very talented.

I saw the film and I loved it. So now I'm on a marvel kick lately. I am having a blast doing these pieces. Expect more..........many more. If you haven't seen it and are into those marvel movies then go and enjoy its brilliance.
This is the 3rd McGregor piece that I got to paint. He fought at the weekend and lost. It was weird watching him lose for the first time since entering the UFC. You win some, you lose some. It's a part of sport. I was super impressed with how he handled it. He wins like a champion and he lost like a champion. He might be brash and loud but he is a class act!
I am a big Kevin Smith fan. I love his movies and his podcast Fatman on Batman with Marc Bernardin. I listen every week. So in honour of the show and him moving the pod to a weekly internet video show on you tube. I figured I would do some fan art in the form of an animated intro.
A little known story is, I could draw from an early age but didn't have any real direction for it. Nor did I even think I could make a career out of it. Then one day when I was young, about 14 or 15. My mammy gave me a VHS tape of the film, "Mallrats". She heard it was about comic book guys and figured it was something I should see. I saw that film any it changed my life. This then led me to "Chasing Amy". I decided to be a comic book artist. 16 years later, I am an animator/comicbook artist/film maker. It's funny how things work out.
I guess if you know what you want, work hard at it. Then you will make money at it.
