We were ready for one of the biggest battles we have ever seen. The build up was intense and I don't think anyone was expecting it to go the way it did. 13 seconds..........the new and undisputed feather weight champion. Conor McGregor. #ANDNEW #UNIFIED
The greatest surf film ever, dropped the other day. So I went and created a Ken Taylor inspired film poster for it's release. The cinematography involved in the project is fantastic. Not to mention the surfing is amazing. Directed by Blake Vincent Kueny & John Florence.Check it out if you get the chance.
So over the past year or so I have been pretty busy working on different Film and TV projects.
Although I can't upload any of the art from said projects just yet. I can post some of the trailers that were released on line.
Projects are in cinemas and on TV soon. Make sure to check them out!!
Blinky Bill the Movie Blinky Bill (voiced by Ryan Kwanten) is a little koala with a big imagination. An adventurer at heart, he dreams of leaving the little town of Green Patch and following in his missing father’s footsteps. Norm of the North
A polar bear of many words, Norm’s greatest gripe is simple: there is no room for tourists in the Arctic. But when a maniacal developer threatens to build luxury condos in his own backyard, Norm does what all normal polar bears would do … he heads to New York City to stop it. With a cast of ragtag lemmings at his side, Norm takes on the Big Apple, big business, and a big identity crisis to save the day.
The film features the voices of Rob Schneider, Heather Graham, Ken Jeong, Gabriel Iglesias, Loretta Devine, Michael McElhatton, Colm Meaney and Bill Nighy.

Another from my Basketball collection. Who will I do next?. He is/was plagued by injuries but before all his knee troubles this guy was legit! A quality PG. Rookie of the year, league MVP and an All Star.
So here I am still working away on the book. It takes a long time to get this stuff done. Having the day job gets in the way of me working full time on the book but I'm happy enough to keep plugging away at it and I'm enjoying getting back into comics.
Here are a few Sample pages from one of the issues.
It's just pencils and Inks for now. I'll add colours, sfx and dialogue when the issues are all drawn.
Being from a small town like Carlow, artistic people naturally come together. This was the case with 4 Lakes Productions. Myself and a couple of friends from the Film and TV Industry, (Dave & Eugene) got together to start a little production company. Thus 4 Lakes Productions was born. We specialize in short film and promo videos.
Love him or hate him, you can't deny he is fun to watch and he has serious presence. Congrats on the win Conor and continue collecting those heads. #ANDNEW
So I made this short film a LONG time ago and never shared it on the blog. It went through the festival circuit awhile back and did well. After that I kinda just forgot about it. I still laugh because it's pretty stupid. I remember when Leo and me were coming up with ideas and he added the shower scene, he also added the cat. Anyways look at it, or not. Cheers to Mark and Rory for helping out!
So the trailer for the new Point Break remake is out and I am not sold on it. I will probably check it out but one thing is for sure, it won't beat the original. Keanu Reeves & (the great) Patrick Swayze at their finest. This is for sure one of my favourite movies. Early 90's film making goodness.
I remember when I was a kid I used to watch a show called "Monkey Magic". A Saturday morning king fu show with horrible English dubbing. It was a TV adaptation of the old "Journey to the West" stories. I have always liked those stories so I did a little something in their honor.
As a fan of football, it would be impossible to not respect a player of his caliber. He may not have won the Premier League but he was a loyal servant to his club, a fantastic player and captain with a fantastic career. The premiership will miss his talent.
Here is a little sneak peek at a final page of my creator owned comic book. I can't wait to post a few more teaser pages from the book but that won't be for awhile. I hope this holds you over until then.
This film is insane, in the best way possible. Louis Bloom played by Jake Gyllenhal, is creepy and extreme, with quotes that are sure to make you laugh. You can't help but root for the guy.
Here is a commission of Jake Gyllenhaal's new movie "SOUTHPAW" that I did for my buddy in Canada. Hopefully he digs it. I look forward to the movie when It comes out.
Here is something quick while in work today. I am watching Friday Night Lights at the moment and it's a great show. Taylor Kitsch plays troubled teen/Dillon Panther football star Tim Riggins. Going to training drunk never looked cooler.
I don't usually do this type art but here is a sorcerer I finished today. I'm trying to push myself to work on different styles and my use of light and shadow. I will be doing more of these exercises in the coming weeks.
I was fortunate enough to be asked to create a logo for Brazilian Jiu-Jitzu / Mixed Martial Arts club Point Blank Submissions.
The logo I designed will be used on the new training gear.

I moved to Galway a year ago and started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitzu with the lads since then. They are a great bunch. Thanks to coaches Tim Murphy and Gary Jennings.
Here is another fast & Furious piece. Tyrese is great in the franchise as Roman Pearce. So here is his print. Also I added Paul for a Brian & Roman variation.
I have recently gotten into podcasts. (I am late to the party I know). But out of the 3 I listen to I am a big fan of Jerry Ferrara and Breanna Racano's "Bad 4 Business". http://b4bent.com/category/podcast/#sthash.9G9h8klO.dpbs
The podcast deals with everyday stuff, they have great guests and as host's they are very relatable. Jerry is known for his role as Turtle on entourage (my favourite show, I can't wait for the movie) and Breanne is his girlfriend/producer. Hence the title of the podcast. Anyways here is a little painting of them while I listened to the show.
It's almost time for the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. I like these movies they are fun and outlandish in equal measure. Sadly it's the last outing for the late Paul Walker. He is one of my favorite actors. I have been meaning to do some art of him for awhile now. Prints are available.
I just finished season 3 of Luther. It's a good show with great characters. I will continue my series of 'what you watching' art pieces, so on that note "HERE'S JOHNNY"
J Cole's new album '2014 Forest Hills Drive' is an amazing piece of work. The song 'Be Free' really is like a soundtrack to what's happening in the U.S. and the treatment of African American's today. His performance on Letterman is powerful.
The song is fantastic and the album is so impressive that it inspired this piece of art.
I don't usually post any of my print work and because of that, I figured I would post a few pages from a book I created awhile ago. It was for a football clubs fundraiser.

The book was just 100 pages long and here are just 5 examples of what I created for the book.
Here is a little piece I painted in work today. I am starting to upload more work lately. It's about time I suppose. Anyways expect more from me in the coming weeks.
What a great show 'Sons of Anarchy' was. After 7 seasons its all over.
