Here are some commissions I did awhile ago. I actually forgot I did them it's been that long. I just picked 3 random ones from a large group that highlighted a different render style I was trying out. If you want a commission email me and we can get started. They make great Christmas gifts!!!
Enjoy

This is an illustration I did over the last few days. Aaron Ross is a professional bmx rider and he released a instavid not to long ago of him doing a trick on his bike with the tires set on fire. It was pretty cool so I decided to do up some art for the occasion.
While I am in the updating mood. I found these Layouts and picked some of the better ones to put on the blog. I don't do enough BGs so this is a start. They are from a short film I made with some pals a long time ago.
Enjoy

I worked up a commission of Irish MMA star Conor McGregor for a client today. It turned out well so I posted it here. I am still trying to figure out what to do with all that empty space in my BGs. A simple gradient will do nicely for now. I like the movement in the piece.
Let me know what you think

So here is something a little different from me. I took some time out and went backpacking to Asia for a few months with a couple of my buddies. Along the way I used my GoPro camera to film everything that got up to. I got home and edited the trip into a little music video. The video is available in HD so make sure to turn it to the best settings available. Have a look and tell me what you think.
Cheers

Here is another poster I worked on for my friends Band. I like how it turned out but I'm not sure the clients were overall to pleased with it. I am working on some new stuff for them and since this one was thrown on the trash pile I figured it was alright to post it here.
As always comment and let me know what you think.
Cheers

For the past year or so myself and the guys at work have been doing 2 minute post-it drawings everyday. Well we used to anyway. I left that job now and it's time to show what I spent the day doing.
The subject matter changed and varied everyday from Super-heroes and villains to favourite childhood animation characters. This is a collection of some of my favourite ones. Enjoy (Please note that luminous markers didn't scan great and left some of the colours out)
My BFAM (Brother from another Mother) Justin, recently asked me to do some artwork for his band Thats My Uncle. I did a few earlier versions but he pushed me further and I am glad he did as the results are better this way. You can check out his FB page here http://www.facebook.com/#!/thatsmyuncle. Their full site is coming soon and I will update the link when it is live. As always enjoy.
I recently did some fanart of a character from a graphic novel called Cyclical. The characters name is Dave Raven he is the intellectual property of Shia Labeouf. He saw the piece and gave me a shout out for it which was Sound.
Shia's above and mine below
Cheers to the big Rory Wolahan for the BG (I stole it). As always enjoy and let me know what you think.
Yeah I haven't posted in awhile I know but I have been busy. I have been working on my short film (It's almost finished). I have been getting more pages for my book (still looking for a publisher) and thats just my own stuff. I haven't even included commisions or my actual day job but anyway here is some new stuff.
This is an illustration I did of pro BMX rider Ryan Guettler. He recently got hurt and had to have his spleen removed. So I did an image of his spleen pulling a trick out of his back on a little BMX. He liked it so it was all good. Here is an example of him doing his thing
I always like how these videos are edited. Anyway enjoy
Working on digital painting and different styles. I like the work of James Haunt so I decided to do a piece inspired by his work. E-Money is the subject.
I was trying different render styles today and came up with a couple of pieces that I liked. I need to start pushing myself more with different styles and renders. I suck when it comes to colours so thats why I need to practice more and get better at it.
Here is a teaser for a Short I have been working on. This is just to wet the appetite. I won't show to much for now but I like how it's turning out so far. I hope to get this thing finished this year as I have been working on it 2 and a half years now on and off.
As always enjoy and leave a comment. Let me know what you think.
I will hopefully be putting together an art book this year and releasing it by Christmas. I have lots done with lots more to do and it needs a good edit before I think it's ready but thems is the plans for 2013.
