I was messing around with some filters aswell so I threw this together.

It was a dark and stormy night.....

I can laugh about it now, well I was kinda laughing about it at the time too but thats because I was exhausted and wasn't thinking clearly. I wanted to poke fun at the night my final year in college went belly up. For the ones that know what happened, join me in a good hearty laugh. For those that don't, it's a funny story I will tell you sometime :) R.I.P Excite Bike (Probably would have won an award for it, but I guess we'll never know. Well not until/if I make it again)

I am Ironman.......well sort of

So I was watching Ironman and thought, you could be in a film like that one day. So I am now staring in this big budget Hollywood masterpiece. My acting skills are outrageous as I am sure you will agree.
Im also starting a new flash project now so keep a look out for that, I will be ringing Leo and Aoife for help ha ha

This is a quick shot of the "boss" putting her foot down. I am putting it together in AE right now with some cool camera effects. I like his expression, all kids know it as......Uh Oh, I'm in trouble now.

So this is a sneak peek at the Final scene. It's pretty basic but I think it works in contrast to the hectic chase scenes that happen throughout the film.

So this is a rendered still where I am revealing the look of my film. A week to go and I decide what it will look like.......great timing I know. Thats what I get for not having a production plan written down. Any way this is the final look and its taken from the final scene. Let me know what you think.......ASAP

Layout to final render

Ok so I really like the pencil drawing I did for the layout. I think I like the rendered version and Im not sure if I like it with the characters in it. It's 5AM I have a meeting in 4 hours, so I can't really tell if I like it at all. So tell me what you think. Good night :)

Student Media awards nomination

Okay so our film Laurie and the Litterbugs has been nominated for a student media award which is great, only catch.... we are up against all our friends haha. Let the battle begin. Best of luck to all the guys that got nominated.

What are you doing

Okay so this is the first look at the cop in the film. I wanted him to be very grown up in his action and attitude. This scene is ready for clean up now, where I will fix the badge and volume issues.

I worked on this during the summer with Alex, Rob, Dimitri, Cormac and Daniel. I didnt do much animation but I got to do lots of design and concept stuff. Ill post that later.

So this is an advert i worked on over the summer with some of my peoples from college.
The whole idea, characters, designs and plot, were all concieved by us. Alex, Rob, Dimitri, Myself, Cormac and Daniel. It was great fun and i hope to do more soon.

Conceptual babies

This is my favourite page. I love the character and his little car.
You'll notice the mud on his car. He has been patrolling the streets keeping us safe.

Okay so I have done up some pages that I'm really happy with.
I finalised alot of colour for the characters and I think they turned out great.
This character isn't fully completed yet but if I make him a little younger i think i will have it nailed. These are also some expressions he will use during the film.

Okay so this is my final character fully coloured and moving.
It isn't finished animation or anything but i like how its progressing.
Backgrounds still need to be finished so don't pay attention to this layout.

Okay so this is just atest i did to see if I could get the back ground to move like it was zooming past.I think it works. The colours are all wrong and the characters aren't in it but it still looks good.
