I am a big Kevin Smith fan. I love his movies and his podcast Fatman on Batman with Marc Bernardin. I listen every week. So in honour of the show and him moving the pod to a weekly internet video show on you tube. I figured I would do some fan art in the form of an animated intro.
A little known story is, I could draw from an early age but didn't have any real direction for it. Nor did I even think I could make a career out of it. Then one day when I was young, about 14 or 15. My mammy gave me a VHS tape of the film, "Mallrats". She heard it was about comic book guys and figured it was something I should see. I saw that film any it changed my life. This then led me to "Chasing Amy". I decided to be a comic book artist. 16 years later, I am an animator/comicbook artist/film maker. It's funny how things work out.
I guess if you know what you want, work hard at it. Then you will make money at it.
I went to Kevin Hart's "WHAT NOW TOUR?". It was hilarious. He told a story about a Raccoon and I nearly pissed myself from laughing so I did a painting of it.
We were ready for one of the biggest battles we have ever seen. The build up was intense and I don't think anyone was expecting it to go the way it did. 13 seconds..........the new and undisputed feather weight champion. Conor McGregor. #ANDNEW #UNIFIED
The greatest surf film ever, dropped the other day. So I went and created a Ken Taylor inspired film poster for it's release. The cinematography involved in the project is fantastic. Not to mention the surfing is amazing. Directed by Blake Vincent Kueny & John Florence.Check it out if you get the chance.
So over the past year or so I have been pretty busy working on different Film and TV projects.
Although I can't upload any of the art from said projects just yet. I can post some of the trailers that were released on line.
Projects are in cinemas and on TV soon. Make sure to check them out!!
