Whenever I take on a commission, I approach it like I am creating a piece of art from a specific book or story. I like to approach it with a story-line rather than just drawing a stand alone piece of art.
I am a big Green Lantern fan. I think the cheeky chappy Hal Jordan type character is a great lead for any story. So approaching this piece I was thinking about a cool intergalactic detective story with Hal and John at the helm.
I would love to do a Beyond the Stars type story with these guys one day.
